You have heard it said before, “YOU CAN’T TRUST EVERYONE”.
So if you meet someone online do you really know who they are?
Some of the most dangerous things online are some of the most fun, like chat rooms,forums and IM. That’s where the perverts and predators hang out, because they know people like those things. What to do? Simple, don’t share personal stuff.
·Be safe and keep things like your name, school, social security number, address, age, birthday, phone number and family or friends names to yourself.
·Watch what information you share indirectly. That's your school mascot, when your favorite band played near your home and other stuff they could use to find you.

They think of you as prey. They will try and get you to trust them by paying attention to you. They may pretend to be a cute guy or girl. They will try to find out what you like so they can say they like the same things. Or they make you think that you can tell them anything and they’ll be on your side. They will make stuff up so it looks like they are doing the same thing as you. They may tell you to keep the friendship secret, even threatening you if you don’t. Many times they will bring up stuff about sex and even send you pictures, or try to get you to meet them.
·Make sure your screen name doesn't say too much, don't include stuff like your name, age or hobbies that predators can use.
·Keep PII (personally identifiable information) private. That's your name, school, social security number, address, age, birthday, phone number and family or friends names to yourself.
·Watch what information you share indirectly. That's your school mascot, when you favorite band played near your home and other stuff they could use to find you.
·Chat with people you know from the real world, from school, band, community groups, your family.
·When someone threatens you or asks for too much information, talk to your parents, a teacher or the local police.

| GAS WAR - an idea that WILL work
This was originally sent by a retired Coca Cola executive. It came from
one of his engineer buddies who retired from Halliburton. It ' s worth your
consideration.
Join the resistance!!!! I hear we are going to hit close to $4.00 a
gallon by next summer and it might go higher!! Want gasoline prices to come
down?
We need to take some intelligent, united action. Phillip Hollsworth
offered this good idea.
This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day"
campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just
laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt"
ourselves by refusing to buy gas. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it
was a problem for them.
BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can
really work. Please read on and join with us! By now you're probably thinking
gasoline priced at about $1.50 is super cheap. Me too! It is currently
$2.79 for regular unleaded in my town. Now that the oil companies and the OPEC
nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a gallon of gas is
CHEAP at $1.50 - $1.75, we need to take aggressive action to teach them
that BUYERS control the marketplace..... not sellers. With the price of gasoline going up more
each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to see
the price of gas come down is if we hit someone in the pocketbook by not
purchasing their gas! And, we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves.
How?
Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas. But we CAN
have an impact on gas prices if we all act together to force a price
war.
Here's the idea:
For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY gasoline from the two
biggest companies (which now are one), EXXON and MOBIL. If they are not selling
any gas, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their
prices, the other companies will have to follow suit.
But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Exxon and
Mobil gas buyers. It's really simple to do! Now, don't wimp out at this
point.... keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach
millions of people.
I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us sends it to at least
ten more (30 x 10 =3D 300) ... and those 300 send it to at least ten more
(300 x 10 =3D 3,000)...and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth
group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers. If those
three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30
million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level
further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!
Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all. (If you
don't understand how we can reach 300 million and all you have to do is send
this to 10 people.... Well, let's face it, you just aren't a mathematician.
But I am, so trust me on this one.)
How long would all that take? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten
more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people could
conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!!
I'll bet you didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you?
Acting together we can make a difference. If this makes sense to you,
please pass this message on. I suggest that we not buy from EXXON/MOBIL UNTIL
THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE $1.30 RANGE AND KEEP THEM DOWN.
THIS CAN REALLY WORK.

| Hi! I want to share with you real quick about the amazing thing that happened to me this Easter weekend. If you have time please read it. Thank you!
God has once again set me free but this time I acted it, this time I boldly went forth and believed it and tested it. I did not fear and I let God be God. Amazing spiritual thinks happened to me then and ever since. I go to a Church of about 600 or more people and never did I think that I could stand up boldly in front of all and tell them about what Jesus can do in peoples lives and what He has done in mine. I was convinced that I was an introvert and subject to anxiety and inhibitions that would keep me from doing this, and so much more for the Lord Jesus Christ.
God woke me up! And this last blessed Easter Sunday I stood up in the middle of the service walked up to the pastor and asked him if I could say something to every one. He said sure and in front of all those people I did the easiest thing I ever did in my life and that was to tell them what I am now sharing with you. Was I nervous? No. It made me feel great and made others feel great about what God was telling them through me and what He has done in my life. Praise God! He has risen from the dead and he has raised me too! For 33 years Satan convinced me that I was not the right person for ministry and sharing the loving word and news of Jesus Christ. It was like being in jail for most of my life and the release date was this last weekend for me. It is like winning the lottery, but so much better, because money means nothing in the long run (especially after we die) and the possibilities for me are endless and filled with joy now. This can happen to you too!
I am one of the happiest people on earth today because I am free from sin and self. Thank you for letting me share what has happened to me this Easter. I can now and have already gone out in boldness and told complete strangers, neighbors, people at work, friends and family about Jesus Christ and what He has done for me and what He can do for them. And they are not offended to hear about these things and I am not afraid to tell them about Jesus, as a matter of fact it puts a smile on their face and it is something which is eternal. He can do the same and more for ANYONE! Praise God! | | |

Unfortunate Series of Events
 An unfortunate fact of life is that "nice," "trustworthy," "interested," "caring," "cool" and anything else can be faked by anyone with a little brain power and observational skills. This is even easier on the Internet. NOBODY can reliably tell the difference online between a nice person and a clever predator pretending to be a nice person. Everyone is vulnerable to being drawn into relationships with predators and other creeps.
Many creeps spend their spare time on the Internet, hoping to meet somebody vulnerable, young, and naïve. They will disguise themselves to your liking. They look for somebody they can talk to, exchange ideas with, have a sense of influence over and maybe actually meet in person. Some like the "excitement" and arousal of exposing kids to raw sexual material via discussion or email. Some like the idea of tricking an individual of any age into a position where he or she can be kidnapped and ultimately involved in one or more of the ugliest of activities you can imagine.
Think It Can't Happen To You! Think Again!
Most victims believed that it could never happen to them.
